Evaluations for Disability Claims
Conducting special evaluations for disability claims as such pertains to establishing a nexus to show the etiology and extent of your current psychiatric condition and it’s connection to your military service or other history or life events, in addition to my professional opinion about the level of your social and occupational impairment as required by the Veterans Administration, the Social Security Administration, or other entity, require specific expertise and experience in working specifically with disability claims.
INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER
As such, Medicaid / Medicare and other health insurance does not pay or reimburse any expenses or costs incurred for these evaluations or other work related to your disability claim. The level of expertise and amount of time involved to gather relevant information, communicate with your attorney, and prepare and required documentation, in addition to a face-to-face evaluation, is often cost prohibitive.
Good News!
I offer a flat rate for the Initial 60-minute meeting and for preparation of documents for your attorney. Often, this is all that will be required. However, any additional work, meetings, or my engagement in hearings or legal proceedings for your claim will be charged according to my standard fee schedule.
